Lately, I have been spending a lot of time thinking about my goals and dreams for my future. I once read, “The world is but a canvas to our imaginations.” It is such an amazing thing to realize that there is no goal that is unattainable and no dream that is too far-fetched. Whether or not you will achieve these goals and dreams relies solely on you and the amount of time and effort you are willing to devote to getting what you want. C. JoyBell once said, “Don’t be afraid of your fears. They’re not there to scare you. They’re there to let you know that something is worth it.” Going after what you want should feel somewhat intimidating. If what you wanted was so easily attained, you would not have to work for it. The hard work put into getting what you want will ultimately be entirely more rewarding than going after something just because it is more easily achievable.

We don’t know what is in store for us, so it is in our hands to try to make something of ourselves. The most important thing is to just do what you love. If you discover your passion and choose to go after it- you’ll find joy. We are blessed enough to have the power and potential to go after our dreams and we should not let it go to waste. Wake up each morning with the intentions to make today count. Make these 24 hours mean something. “Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn.” Failure is simply a lesson. There are no mistakes. Everything we experience is meant to be experienced. Every hardship and difficulty is placed in our path because we are capable of overcoming it. Going through hard times shows resilience. Be ready to take on each and every challenge thrown your way.

If you want something- go for it. At the end of the day, what matters is what we are choosing to get out of life. Make room for good things and good things will come your way. Today, sit down- think about what is important to you, what you want to get out of life, what you can do for others, and how you can make the most out of today. Fill your heart and your mind with what is important and what matters to you, and let go of the rest.

Believe that you are destined to do great things- then go out there and do them. Nobody but you can work to achieve the results you want.
Have a happy Saturday, everyone!
