Sorry for the lack of posts lately!
After a weekend in the city, I am back at school and ready
to return to working and blogging. On Thursday night, we were stuck in the
train station since our train was delayed for four hours. Though it was such a
minor situation, it opened my eyes to the fact that we spend so much of our
time fretting and planning, while we should be smiling, enjoying things, and
just living. By freaking out every
time something small and meaningless happens, we waste all of the energy that should be focused on the meaningful situations
that are going to count.
Sometimes, our paths may not be laid out the way that we
imagined them to be. Go with it.
Roll with it. Stop letting disappoints overshadow all of the good things in
life and all of the things that we have yet to experience that could bring us immeasurable
amounts of joy.
Be content with where
you are. Sometimes we focus so much on what we want to achieve that we are
unable to relish in current successes. Live for now. Everything else will fall
into place.
We still have so much growing to do and so many life lessons
to learn before we are able to move on to the next stage of life. Don’t just
appreciate the big moments. Appreciate the little things in life that make the
big moments seem so huge.
Here’s to celebrating
every moment- little and big.
