Corfu, Greece: 10/31/14-11/2/14

Another thing that I got to check off of my bucket list while abroad: visiting Greece. To be honest, my Greece began after seeing The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. While I was surprised that I didn't find white houses with blue roofs on hills overlooking the water, Greece was unbelievably beautiful nonetheless. The amazing thing about getting a chance to travel is that you realize that there is so much more to these places than you could ever see in a photograph.

For my weekend in Greece, I stayed in Corfu. Corfu is the second largest Ionian Island and is home of one of the most amazing hostels I've seen thus far, The Pink Palace. I spent my weekend driving around the island on an ATV, learning how to Greek dance, eating gyros, getting plates smashed over my head in a traditional Greek dance ceremony, attending a toga party, laying out in the gorgeous weather and shopping in the center. This weekend was one that I will never forget.

To an amazing weekend, yamas, Greece!
